Natalie & Marshall

NMBblog-1The day Natalie contacted me about photographing her wedding, I knew 2015 was going to be a good year.  It was her that led me to photographing Jenna & Ben‘s wedding at the Helwig Winery in Plymouth last year, and I knew that the celebration for her and Marshall would be just as perfect.  Natalie & Marshall’s love story is sweet & simple. They were set up on a blind date in 2012, and after talking for hours, the rest became history. The proposal story was adorable, as it happened on their 2 year anniversary to the day. Natalie & Marshall share a love for baseball, specifically the Oakland A’s. The game wrapped up, and they searched for the perfect place to view the fireworks display from. After finding a spot to call their own, they stood and watched the show, and then and there Marshall got down on one knee and asked for Natalie to become his wife. Natalie put her heart and soul in to getting the details for her wedding just right, and their wedding was beautiful, not only in the details of their wedding day, but also the love that was beaming between these two individuals. It is easy to see that these two are quite smitten with each other, and of course gorgeous as ever. Their wedding took place in Sacramento at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria, and after a weekend of crossed fingers and rain plans being formulated, the day was clear as could be for these two love birds to begin their new life journey together.  Their wedding was filled with friends and family from near and far, and had so many little elements to make it special and unique.  Natalie & her dad Michael started off the day with a first look and Marshall’s aunts continued these special family moments through in to the reception with the passing of a family teapot to the newest married couple.  Natalie & Marshall were the perfect couple to have kick off my 2015 wedding season, and I am so excited for their new adventure together 🙂
